In recent weeks, model and social media personality Ellie Thumann has been admirably honest about her feelings of burn out. The month of September brought a lot of obligations for the model, who made several appearances at New York Fashion Week. She took to TikTok earlier this week to share that she was feeling burnt out and had been in a “mental rut” for all of September.

But with her favorite month of the year ramping up, and some newfound routine and daily practices, the 21-year-old is working hard to lift her spirits. On Oct. 6, she shared her most recent revelation when it comes to dealing with “feeling off.” Thumann is a big fan of a good therapy walk, and with all of the travel she has been doing, she hasn’t had the chance to make them a priority lately.

“When you wonder why you’ve been feeling off but you haven’t been on a therapy walk in a second,” she wrote on the short clip.

“ive never left a hot girl walk feeling worse .. always better,” she noted in her caption, an encouraging tip for those who might be feeling similarly out of sorts.

Over the past week, Thumann has been sharing updates as well as tips and tricks for dealing with mental ruts on her TikTok channel, hoping to inspire others who might be experiencing similar dips in emotional well-being.

Her go-to move for lifting her spirits is first and foremost establishing a routine. Recent travels have understandably disrupted her typical daily schedule, but with the help of daily workouts, cooking and, of course, therapy walks, Thumann is actively working to re-establish her typical day-to-day and lift herself out of her rut.
