Earlier this month, breakup rumors began to swirl regarding Dancing With the Stars runner-up Alix Earle and Houston Texans wide receiver Braxton Berrios. Roughly one week after initial reports—from US Weekly and PEOPLE, for example—circulated regarding the duo’s relationship status, Earle took to Instagram to confirm that the pair had officially called it quits on Dec. 13.

More recently, on Dec. 29, the 25-year-old, who celebrated the occasion with a girls’ trip to Los Cabos, took to TikTok to give her audience on the app a sneak peek into her mindset for 2026—along with an update on where she and Berrios stand today.

“Let’s try this again .. life updates 😃😃,” the creator wrote in the caption of the near-four-minute-long clip. Before it concluded, she mentioned, “I also have to move all my stuff out of Braxton’s house and then need to reorganize my space in L.A. because I have so much stuff, but it’s weird because I’ve never been through a breakup where we’re so like civil and on good terms.”

However, she mentioned that civility is actually difficult to navigate, which is a sentiment that her fans are also in agreement with. “It honestly is making it a lot harder,” Earle continued.“I wish I felt like, angry.”

One user took to the comment section to add to the sentiment, “‘I wish I felt angry’ —is so real... the whole hEalThY breakup thing is so difficult😩,” Nearly 27,000 people liked the statement at the time of publication, including Earle herself.

“I think it’s great that you and Braxton are on good terms!!” A separate commenter wrote as part of their note, “Breakups don't always have to end badly. You and Braxton are both good people!!”

As for how she’s taking another monumental moment from 2025 into the new year, Earle also explained that she is “doing a lot more physical activity” inspired by her 11-week stint on DWTS.

The New Jersey native, who partnered with Valentin Chmerkovskiy on the long-time competition show continued, “I’ve been working out every day, and I’ve been trying to think of it more as like moving my body as opposed to like, ‘Oh, I have to work out,’ just because I felt like from dancing every day [that] just helped me feel really good.”

Fans will see Earle back in her dancing shoes for back-to-back nights—Feb. 14 and 15—as part of the Dancing With The Stars Tour, which kicks off on Jan. 22.
