Billie Eilish’s Best Outfits Through the Years

When we think to ourselves, “Who’s a singer that has serious signature style?” the first name to pop into our heads is, hands down, Billie Eilish.
The 23-year-old artist first made waves in the music industry with her dreamy song “Ocean Eyes” back in 2015 before taking over the charts with her hit albums When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, Happier Than Ever and Hit Me Hard and Soft. Her work has earned her nine Grammy Awards since 2020, and she also has two Academy Awards for Best Original Song: one for “No Time to Die,” named for the titular James Bond film, and one for “What Was I Made For?” from Barbie.
Aside from her already incredible career, Eilish is also known for her cool, casual, everyday style and glamorous red-carpet fashion, often merging multiple aesthetics to craft one-of-a-kind looks her fans love. With this in mind, let’s take a look back at just a few of our favorite outfits this talented superstar has sported over the years.
Signature style
As noted above, there’s no denying Eilish has a distinct signature style. Her everyday looks range from streetwear-inspired outfits with a twist to chic, simple ensembles featuring staple pieces. Still, the looks fans are most accustomed to seeing the singer in tend to be oversized, patterned and colorful, embodying a playful energy and creating memorable silhouettes.

When it comes to Eilish’s everyday ensembles, the overall vibe is “cool girl” casual with an edgy designer spin, which further exemplifies the artist’s bold and boundless creativity.
Killer cover girl fashion
Whenever Eilish is spotted on the cover of a magazine, her styling almost always takes inspiration from her everyday looks; however, publications then punch those looks up to craft a sleek, fashion-forward final shot. Throughout her many features over the years, the singer has played with different eras and aesthetics, with each photo shoot revealing a new side of the artist to her fans.

Eilish’s unpredictability remains an asset, especially with her fashion choices. As seen in the above British Vogue feature, the singer often shows that she isn’t afraid to step away from her typical style to try something new—and of course, she rocks it all the same.
Red carpet rebel
When gracing a red carpet event, the award-winning artist knows how to stand out. Eilish has donned everything from elegant sets to gorgeous gowns over the years, and each look only raises the bar for her next one, all courtesy of her fearless fashion sense.

In short, if you’re attending an event in the future and learn Eilish will also be walking the red carpet, make sure you’re ready to up your style game to match her ferocity—and know that her older brother will likely also be there, looking just as fashion-forward as his sibling!
Met Gala magic
Eilish’s Met Gala looks are so showstopping, they deserve their own section separate from her red carpet looks! The artist attended three consecutive Met Galas, walking the red carpet in 2021, 2022 and 2023. She skipped the event in 2024, then missed it again in 2025, citing her tour schedule. Still, her ensembles for the events she previously attended were expertly crafted to fit each theme, embracing the assignments at hand for some unforgettable red carpet moments.

Also 2021: Elevating afterparty attire
2022: “Gilded Glamour” theme
2023: “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” theme
With looks crafted by designers Oscar de la Renta, Gucci and Simone Rocha, respectively, Eilish owned the Met Gala during her three-year reign. Here’s hoping we see her return to the event in the future to reclaim her throne.
What’s next for Eilish: a high-profile Hollywood partnership
Eilish has been adventuring around the world for Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour since September 2024. The tour wrapped up in late November 2025, ending her busy year on a high note. Still, that doesn’t mean she’s officially saying goodbye to the tour, as she recently took to Instagram to let fans in on some exciting developments with the upcoming tour film—including her partnership with a Hollywood legend.
Eilish recently shared that director James Cameron—best known for box office hits Titanic and Avatar, as well as 1980s sci-fi classics Terminator and Aliens—would be collaborating with her on the upcoming tour film. Of the partnership, the singer told The Wall Street Journal, “It’s been an insanely amazing, surreal experience working with James Cameron. I’m really excited for all of it, and I’m so excited for the fans to experience this 3D situation that we’re working on.”
The film is currently slated for release on March 20, 2026, and we can’t wait to see the tour in all its glory on the big screen—as well as all the outstanding outfits the artist is sure to showcase!
