With Season 35 of Dancing With the Stars right around the corner, rumors have begun flying about the potential cast. While the full official list won’t be unveiled until Sept. 2 on Good Morning America, multiple outlets have already speculated on potential names, and the gossip hit a fever pitch this week as August comes to a close.
Out of the loop on all the rumors? Say less, our dear dance-loving friends! Scroll on to learn everything we know so far about the confirmed cast of Dancing With the Stars Season 35, plus which celebrities have been rumored to appear on the hit ABC competition series.
Who is confirmed for the Dancing With the Stars Season 35 cast?
At the time of this article’s publication, only four cast members have been officially confirmed by ABC. First, ABC announced back in April that Summer House star Ciara Miller and The Traitors breakout Maura Higgins would both appear on the show during Hulu’s Get Real event.
Then, in May, Savannah Bananas baseman and social media star Jackson Olsen was also added to the squad, sharing the news during Disney’s Upfront event. Finally, in June, Jimmy Kimmel announced that his longtime costar Guillermo Rodriguez would join the cast during an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! And earlier this week, fans learned that Rodriguez would be partnered with Season 34-winning pro Witney Carson for the season.
Who is rumored to be joining the Dancing With the Stars Season 35 cast?
While those four names remain the only currently confirmed for the show by ABC, several outlets have reported other potential stars who might appear in the beloved ballroom.
On Wednesday, Aug. 19, Us Weekly published an exclusive stating that a source revealed that actor Jenna Dewan was reportedly reentering the world of dance after her appearances in films like Step Up and Take the Lead. In the same exclusive report, another source told the outlet that Bachelor Nation alum Tyler Cameron would also appear before the judging panel with the hopes of securing a perfect score.
Then, on Thursday, Aug. 20, TMZ reported that actors Julia Stiles and Tatyana Ali were both set to strut their stuff on the hardwood floor, citing tips from “production sources.” And today—Friday, Aug. 21—two more names have been added to the growing rumored list, with Us Weekly once again reporting that sources confirmed Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Conner Leavitt (who is the husband of Season 34 contestant Whitney Leavitt), as well as Love Thy Nader star Sarah Jane Nader (who is the sister of Season 33 contestant Brooks Nader) were locked in for a turn around the dance floor.
As stated in these reports, the outlets reached out to ABC for confirmation, but the show has not yet commented on the names reported.
When will the official cast of Dancing With the Stars Season 35 be announced?
As noted above, the official cast of Dancing With the Stars Season 35 will be unveiled on Wednesday, Sept. 2, on Good Morning America. From there, the show is set for a two-night premiere on ABC on Tuesday, Sept. 15, and Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 8 p.m. ET.
