While Olivia Dunne always appears excited to watch her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, she recently revealed that this excitement also comes with a sizeable side of stress.

Coming off of an exciting week for the retired NCAA gymnast—who just announced she’d been cast as a reccuring character on the FOX reboot of Baywatch, following her candid discussions around future acting goals—Dunne took to TikTok to show her 7.9 million followers how she really felt as she watched the 2025 Cy Young Award winner pitch for Team USA in the 2026 World Baseball Classic semifinals.

Dunne stresses on the sidelines

In a new video shared to the app on Sunday, March 15, the content creator sat in the stands, laser-focused on Skenes as he took to the pitching mound.

Dunne wore a casual outfit, comprising a trendy pair of dark-wash jeans and a distressed red, white and blue jacket. She wore her blonde hair parted down the center, slicked back in a low ponytail. She kept her makeup effortless, opting for matte skin, a simple smoky eye and pink lips—all of which proved to be the perfect choices for an evening spent casually stressing on the sidelines.

“When someone says they’re stressed, but they’ve never watched their man get out of a bases loaded jam repping the USA,” text written over the clip read. Dunne nervously watched the game, shooting the camera a concerned glance as she took deep breaths. She added in the caption, “I am not cut out for this #fyp #baseball #wbc #usa #paulskenes”

Fans were just as nervous as Dunne

However, Dunne wasn’t the only one feeling the nerves as they watched Skenes work. One look at the former athlete’s comment section revealed many of her followers were holding their breath, rallying around the couple with support, love and, of course, a few jokes.

“If you ain’t a stressed baseball gf then are you really a baseball gf, btw you look so pretty,” a commenter penned, which Dunne liked.

“Mr USA. He so aura, You too tho your a close 2nd,” one fan joked, which Dunne also liked.

“I was stressed sitting on my couch watching 😂,” another user agreed.

Team USA won the game, defeating the Dominican Republic, 2-1. According to MLB’s website, Team USA will next face the winner of the Italy vs. Venezuela matchup in the finals this Tuesday, March 17, at 8 p.m. ET. Needless to say, we hope both Dunne and Skenes get a little stress-free relaxation time in before then!
