Jahmyr Gibbs’s Girlfriend, Nicole Anderson, Drops Her Go-to Lip Combo for Game Day

The Detroit Lions WAG loves a glossy lip and a custom garment while cheering on her beau.

Each time he suits up to take the field, Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs has his biggest fan in the stands cheering him on: his girlfriend, Nicole Anderson. We recently caught up with the model and WAG to chat all things game-day style, and the 24-year-old real estate agent didn’t gatekeep any of her favorites, from fashion to glam.

Who is Nicole Anderson?

A model of Korean and Swedish descent, Anderson is making a name for herself in the industry, most recently working with brands like True Religion and New Era Cap. In addition to her professional modeling work, Anderson also works as a realtor in Michigan. Anderson is a staple on the sidelines at Detroit Lions games, where she proudly cheers for her beau, whom she went Instagram official with on Halloween in 2023.

“He always makes everything fun,” Anderson tells SI Lifestyle of Gibbs. “Like he’s just silly all the time, just crazy, and he can make anything fun.”

Anderson’s glam on game days

While her outfits are certainly statement-making (more on that below), Anderson’s game-day glam is super laid-back. She loves a great lip liner and gloss combo, but otherwise likes her makeup to be fairly simple.

“ I like to keep it light,” Anderson says. “ I usually just use a Refy bronzer ($28), brush up my brows, curl my lashes and [add] some blush. I don't like doing like a full [face]. I definitely don't use foundation. I feel like by the end of the day, I am oily and not feeling it, so I like to keep it pretty light.”

A hydrating, non-sticky lip oil is a must for Anderson. And while she says she has a rotating list of favorite glosses at any given moment, this affordable pick earns high praise from the model.

Her custom fashion for game day

Anderson has an incredibly stylish eye, and she says she always styles her game-day outfits around one custom piece, like pants, a jersey or outerwear, for example. And when it comes to sourcing those custom pieces, Anderson generally has a designer in mind for each. She often works with Kelly Daley, a designer who has also created one-of-a-kind looks for fellow NFL WAG Simone Biles. Last season, for example, the Philadelphia-based designer created a custom pair of windbreaker pants for Anderson with Gibbs’s name and number on the legs.

“I think [my sense of style] varies by day,” Anderson admits of her chameleon-like fashion sense. “Like some days I’m in a little dress or like maxi skirt and then other days I’m in like oversized, baggy jeans with a little top, so it just depends. I really like street style and being comfy.”

She’ll typically reach for a pair of kitten heels or designer sneakers by Bottega Veneta or Chanel on game days, and Anderson also loves a designer purse. Rather than opting for a clear, stadium-approved bag, she loves her small Louis Vuitton bag and Coach purse with blue rhinestones.

Anderson also pays homage to her boyfriend with her accessories. She regularly sports a diamond “Jah” necklace and also has a large, blinged-out Sonic the Hedgehog chain as a nod to her beau’s nickname. And when she and Jah are cuddled up on the couch at home during a bye week, Anderson loves to rock a cozy sweatsuit by Detroit designer SANA.

We’ll be keeping an eye on Anderson’s Instagram account this evening as the Lions take on the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, on Sunday Night Football. Kickoff us at 8:20 p.m ET and the game will be broadcast from Lincoln Financial Field on NBC.
