Madelyn Cline’s Boldest ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ Press Tour Looks

The ‘Outer Banks’ actress stars in the new horror sequel, now playing in theaters.

One of the most anticipated movies of the summer is now playing in theaters, with Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt reprising their iconic roles in I Know What You Did Last Summer. The new horror flick serves as a sequel to 1998’s I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. Alongside the original actors, some of the biggest names of young Hollywood round out the cast, including Outer Banks star Madelyn Cline.

Cline, 27, rose to fame through her role as Sarah Cameron in the Netflix teen drama. As she gets ready to say goodbye to the beloved series with the forthcoming fifth season, she’s had no trouble booking roles in all different genres. And while I Know What You Did Last Summer’s release had surprisingly limited press, the South Carolina native still blew us away with each of her looks.

For the official I Know What You Did Last Summer premiere in Los Angeles on July 14, Cline dropped jaws in this gorgeous blush pink plunging gown from Conner Ives featuring super flattering ruching down the middle. Accessorizing with nude open-toed heels and simple jewelry, she was easily the best-dressed on the carpet.

For the event, Cline repped Revolve products for her glam, as an official ambassador of the beauty brand, using the ColorStay Face + Body Glow Lotion ($9.88), the ColorStay Longwear Makeup ($12.48), the ColorStay Full Time Mascara ($9.88) and the Glimmer Lip Oil in Posh Peach ($10.49).

In June, the cast of I Know What You Did Last Summer got all glammed up for a special event in honor of the trailer release. Posing alongside co-stars Chase Sui Wonders and Sarah Pidgeon, Cline provided a pop of color in a red hot mini dress with gathering at the bottom, while her castmates wore perfect little black dresses.

To celebrate the trailer launch, the cast also attended a screening of the movie and handed out horror-themed desserts for lucky fans.

Along with her castmates Wonders, Tyriq Withers, and Jonah Hauer-King, the Glass Onion actress posed for a fabulous summery photo shoot for People Magazine, and we simply can’t get over this white and red dress. Embracing one of this year’s hottest fashion trends in polka dots, Cline looked ultra feminine in this sleeveless, floor-length, ruffled dress with a pretty rose accent.

Cline switched up her outfit to complement her co-stars’ looks, changing into a white and black silk sleeveless floor-length dress, channeling edgy vibes to match the mood of the horror movie.

As the July 2025 Allure cover star, Cline went for dark glam with this super chic two-piece ensemble and glittery makeup. Wearing an oversized black leather jacket from Loewe with a belt and a matching Marc Jacobs skirt, part of her face was painted with multi-colored glitter, delivering a major 2010s Tumblr aesthetic we can’t deny we miss.

As part of promotion for her new movie—and other exciting things on the horizon—Cline stopped by the Happy Sad Confused podcast to chat with host Josh Horowitz. For the sit-down interview, the actress looked so lovely in a black leather short-sleeved dress with a glamorous cape. Wearing her hair up on a high bun, she showcased her undeniable face card.
