Margot Robbie Embodies Romantic Elegance on the ‘Wuthering Heights’ Red Carpet in Voluminous Chanel Ensemble

Margot Robbie’s press tour ensembles for Wuthering Heights just keep getting better and better.
The Australian actress, who portrays Catherine Earnshaw in the Emerald Fennell adaptation of the Emily Brontë classic, wore an incredible corseted gown with a burgundy velvet train adorned with feathers to the film’s screening in Paris on Monday, Feb. 2. The custom Chanel garment, which also featured an ivory underskirt, was the first time Robbie wore a look by the design house’s creative director, Matthieu Blazy, on a red carpet.
“It is such an honor to wear this look designed by Matthieu,” Robbie toldVogue. “ ... I couldn’t think of a more special occasion than for Wuthering Heights, a project that is so special to me.”
To complete the romantic look, styled by Andrew Mukamal, Robbie wore custom jewels by Lorraine Schwartz, including a velvet choker adorned with champagne diamonds valued at more than 100 carats.
Of the custom, Victorian-inspired necklace, the bespoke jewelry designer wrote in an Instagram story: “We are in for quite a jewelry ride with this tour,” prompting our excitement here at SI Lifestyle to skyrocket over what incredible looks are still to come as the cast continues press events leading up to the film’s theatrical release on Friday, Feb. 13.
“Loved designing and making this nude 100 carat diamond choker and earrings for the amazing stunning [Robbie] for her [Wuthering Heights] Paris premiere,” another Instagram story by the brand continued. “Thank you [Mukamal] for your incredible vision.”
Mukamal posted his client’s dramatic designer garb to his Instagram account, where fans chimed in to praise the pair on their incredible vision once again.
“MOTHER IS MOTHERING 🔥😍,” one person wrote.
“PERFECT! Please do another book with Margot ❤️,” someone else begged, referring to Barbie: The World Tour, a coffee table book the actress and stylist collaborated on following the incredible, on-theme looks they put together for the Barbie press tour back in 2023.
“♥️ this like a PHD of period fashion art history in the making! What a wonderful job you are doing,” another follower noted.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO US 🔥,” joked one fan.
As for the Paris screening’s after-party, Robbie was styled in jaw-dropping ensemble: A jet black Victorian mini skirt with an attached garter belt that gave way to a removable floor-length skirt. The actress rocked the dress both with and without the skirt attachment throughout the evening.
