Sydney Warner Reveals Her Foolproof San Francisco 49ers WAG Game-Day Outfit Formula

The NFL season is in full swing, and we’ve spent the last several weeks gushing over the impeccable style we’ve seen grace the sidelines, courtesy of WAGs like Claire Kittle and Simone Biles. Game-day fashion is just as varied as street style, as each woman brings her own personal aesthetic to bare while cheering on her team.
We recently had the opportunity to chat with Sydney Warner, wife of San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner, to dish all things game-day dressing. Below, she offers up her foolproof outfit formula, talks matching moments with her son and shares the fellow WAG whose sense of style she admires most.
Warner’s personal game-day aesthetic
Warner credits her roots with her classic and classy sense of style. The Alabama native notes that she likes to keep things simple while bringing some southern flair to the NFL sidelines.
“ My game-day style aesthetic is traditional, classic, I don’t like to go too crazy,” Warner tells SI Lifestyle. “I am a very traditional girl, so I like to just have key components of being comfortable, being stylish, and then of course, rooting for my husband and his team. So I like to do customized things with his number, but also keep it true to my traditional style.”
On any given game day, you’re likely to see Warner rocking denim and gold jewelry, which she says are her staples. She gravitates toward classic Levi’s for jeans and gets a lot of her custom accessories from BaubleBar.
“ I love working denim into a lot of what I wear during the season,” Warner says. “[For] one, because I feel like that goes so well with the 49ers style with our colors, and of course it’s Levi’s Stadium, so denim is an amazing way to tie everything in. And then ... traditional, classic gold pieces of jewelry are always such a nice touch to have without being like much.”
Warner will often incorporate her husband’s name and number into her custom jewelry, and she’ll occasionally do the same with a custom jersey. Earlier this season, she opted for a cropped, custom baseball jersey to mix things up a bit.
“ I work with so many creative women that are creating so much stuff in the space of football fashion,” she says. “I [recently] worked with Rework the Roster, she’s the one who did my baseball jersey. I work with a lot of other women that are just so talented and so creative.”
As for other WAGs whose game-day style she admires most, Warner cites one 2024 SI Swimsuit model in particular for having impeccable taste.
“I’ve always looked to Brittany Mahomes,” she says. “I think she’s very much like me. She’s classic, classy and I just love her style. So I always see her, what she’s dressed in and I think she always looks so cute.”
Accessories fit for game day
Any football fan knows the struggle of finding a cute stadium-approved bag to bring along on game days. In addition to her favorite Chanel clutch and YSL chain wallet, Warner loves Stoney Clover’s clear bags. As for what’s in her purse on game days, you’ll never catch her without the essentials.
“ I always have a claw clip, a hair tie, my cell phone, of course, and I always have hand sanitizer because it gets icky on game day,” Warner says, noting that she’ll also throw a portable fan in her bag if the weather calls for it. “ [When] I have a clear bag, I love to have like a pop of color inside of the clear bags, so I’ll do a cute little card holder that’s a color.”
As for shoes, she’ll often reach for a tall knee-high boot or a comfy tennis shoe to round out her look.
“I love my Nike Air Force Ones,” Warner gushes of her favorite footwear. “If you’re ever in a pinch for a white tennis shoe that you need to wear with an outfit, those are so comfortable. If I’m just not feeling a heel that day, I’ll always pull out a white Air Force One. They’re so classic and my husband wears them pretty much every game, so we match.”
Game days are fun for the whole family
Sydney and Fred are proud parents to son Beau, whom they welcomed in March of 2024. The Warner clan will soon become a family of four, as the happy couple is currently awaiting the arrival of their second child. While the pair announced the exciting news of Sydney’s pregnancy publicly in September, the Warners shared more recently that baby No. 2 is a girl.
Game days as a mom are incredibly joyous for Sydney, who has some twinning moments planned for herself and her son throughout the 2025-26 NFL season.
“ I’ve got some matching outfits aligned with my son that I’m excited for,” she says. “ ... We’re gonna do matching outfits when it gets a little bit colder outside. I’ve got some fun things lined up and, of course, some really cute stuff for him too. It’s not just me, he’s the star of the show.”
While she eagerly anticipates the arrival of her baby girl in 2026, Sydney is soaking in this football season with her son, sharing in the special moments that watching from the sidelines brings.
“ He absolutely loves it,” she says of game day with her baby boy. “He has so much fun just screaming ‘dada’ and anytime he sees a San Francisco logo or a football, it’s just dada, dada, dada! So he is starting to understand and get excited, and he claps when the crowd claps. It’s just so fun to watch him grow and be in this life of football and really enjoy it.”
