As we eagerly await the arrival of Taylor Swift’s newest studio album, The Life of a Showgirl—which debuts tomorrow, Oct. 3—we’re reminded that the latest chapter in the artist’s illustrious discography is also true to her roots.

So, as Swifties around the globe prepare for the 14-time Grammy winner’s drop on Friday, we’re resurfacing some of her most memorable red carpet looks that prove she’s absolutely always been in her “Showgirl” era.

2025: Grammy Awards

Following Swift’s most recent award show, outlets like InStyle and Harper’s Bazaar dove into the artist’s red-hot look, both crediting her mini dress as a custom Vivienne Westwood number. There wasn’t a single part of the 35-year-old’s ensemble that strayed away from the red-hot hue—including her nails, earrings, open-toed heels and lipstick. Plus, fans raved about the look’s sultry hidden “T” body jewelry detail, spotted just below the garment’s hem.

2024: Grammy Awards

A year prior, before collecting her trailblazing fourth Album Of The Year award for her 10th studio album Midnights, Swift arrived at the Grammys in a dreamy white Schiaparelli number featuring an ultra-high slit. But that was the only dreamy item the singer-songwriter sported that night, as she contrasted her look with black velvet gloves to match her black heels, along with a luxurious stack of layered necklaces and studded earrings.

Also in 2024, the singer-songwriter stunned in this vibrant green number from Gucci at the Golden Globes. The strappy, figure-hugging garment was covered in sparkles, and it also gave a sneak peek of her closed-toe metallic heels as she walked in stride. In contrast to her Grammy Award look—which she debuted roughly a month later—she kept the accessories to a minimum.

2023: Grammy Awards

Swifted traded a traditional gown for a two-piece set in 2023, which fittingly featured a navy shade just four months after she released Midnights. PEOPLE reported that the duo was from Roberto Cavalli, and while it may have covered her footwear, she was wearing a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti heels. While the entire ensemble was blue, including the artist’s smoky eye, she still stuck with her signature red lip.

2022: MTV Video Music Awards

Perhaps the most on-brand number to mirror her latest album was this Oscar de la Renta, which Swift wore during MTV’s Video Music Awards back in 2022. In fact, the number is giving us a major flashback to her look on The Life of a Showgirl: It’s Beautiful Deluxe CD announced in August, for which she was styled by the iconic Bob Mackie. Adorned with feathers and intricate beadwork, it’s no surprise that this pastel pink Versace gown made our list. It has been seven years since Swift debuted the sultry maxi dress featuring a super-high slit and asymmetrical neckline, and still, it mirrors a few stylish frames from her latest work.
