Alex Morgan led the U.S. women’s national team to its sixth SheBelieves Cup win on Feb. 22. Less than a week later, she stunned in a gorgeous Barbie-inspired pantsuit set at The Best FIFA Football Awards in Paris on Monday.
The San Diego Wave FC player was a finalist for The Best FIFA Women’s Player award alongside Beth Mead and winner Alexia Putellas.
Morgan shared a couple of snaps of her fun and bright outfit from the evening with her 9.8 million Instagram followers.
“The look✨💕 #thebest,” she captioned a high-resolution duo of photos taken as she looked into a mirror above her bathroom counter.
Morgan wore a neon pink belted blazer which she tied below her waist, leaving the top half open to reveal a pink cropped tank. The top was paired with matching wide-leg bottoms, all custom-made by Chvndler, who worked with Morgan’s stylist, Jasmine Caccamo.
“Made the trench suit look out of two pink @nikewomen Tech Pack Trench Coats💕,” the designer explained on IG.
“SLAY 😍,” teammate Kelsey Turnbow piped in the comments.
“YES 🔥,” USWNT player Naomi Girma added.
The 33-year-old accessorized with dangly pink earrings, a gold watch and a baby pink mini purse. Her glam involved rose gold eyeshadow, a pop of blush, glossy lips and a middle-parted sleek low ponytail.
She attended the event with her husband, Servando Carrasco, and the two were photographed on the arrivals carpet by Daniela Porcelli. The couple share a 2-year-old daughter, Charlie.
“Congratulations on another fantastic year, here we go for a few more years! 👸💪🙌,” Sofia Jakobsson chimed in to Morgan’s second IG post of the look.
“she ate that up,” one fan chirped.
“You’re beautiful and you’re a wonderful player,” another gushed. “Queen and Legend. The GOAT. Congratulations on your award.😊👑🐐⚽️.”
Morgan was also named to the 2022 FIFA FIFPro Women’s World11 list for the fifth time.
