‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Isn’t New Tonight, But Here’s When the Finale Airs

Somehow, we’ve made it to the conclusion of Bachelor in Paradise Season 10. Like previous seasons, this installment sees former contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette live together on a gorgeous resort, looking for love. But this time around, viewers—and the contestants—were in for major change-ups.
Not only does this season also include former contestants from The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette, but, as we learned in Week 5, money is actually on the line this time. That’s right: it’s not all about true love anymore—at least, it doesn’t have to be. Platonic pairings have been voted onto the next round week after week, sticking around for the chance of going home with half a million dollars.
Safe to say, this has been an eventful Bachelor in Paradise. Look at ABC, actually switching things up on us! Though not every change has been welcome by fans—the new opening theme is not a favorite—it’s been an unpredictable season, which is always fun. But it all comes to an end with Week 9, a.k.a. Episode 10.
The Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 finale is delayed
However, if you were planning your evening tonight around Bachelor in Paradise, think again. The series has been airing every Monday night on ABC—plus one extra night earlier on—but that won’t be the case with the finale. The good thing is, though, you won’t have to wait long. Just shift your plans back one day! The final episode will premiere on ABC on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
The reason for the delay is simple: ABC is avoiding the US holiday today, Labor Day. This change in schedule was confirmed on the official Bachelor in Paradise Instagram account.
At the time of this writing, the network’s schedule lists the finale as being two hours long, meaning it won’t be a supersized episode. That’s surprising, considering there’s a lot of ground that has to be covered before we say goodbye to another season. We’ll keep checking and update this post if we see any different.
The final couples going into the finale
Going into the finale, here are the pairings who could be eliminated, or could win big—both financially and/or romantically:
- Dale and Kat
- Andrew and Alexe
- Spencer and Jess
- Jeremy and Bailey
- Keith and Kathy
It’s tough to predict who might be the winning couple, but if I had to bet on it, I’d pick either Spencer and Jess or Dale and Kat. Spencer and Jess have been the strongest for the longest amount of time, but they had a tiny issue last week when Jess expressed her hesitancy in moving too fast. That said, Spencer was totally understanding, and they’re in a good place going into the finale.
Dale and Kat have surprised me. Both contestants got engaged on shows before—Dale to Clare Crawley on The Bachelorette and Kat to John Henry Spurlock on last season of Paradise—and it took a few weeks for them to emerge as a really promising couple. But right now, they are.
Alexe and Andrew have been really strong as of late, even admitting to each other that they’re falling in love last week. They definitely have a chance. Jeremy and Bailey have had some hiccups, but they seem very content as of now.
Keith and Kathy are the only remaining couple who are not romantic, so I really don’t think there’s any shot for them.
Be sure to watch the Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 finale on Tuesday, and check back with us for our live recap and other coverage.
