Jennifer Coolidge Shines in Green Sequin Dress at Premiere of Her New Film ‘We Have a Ghost’
Jennifer Coolidge looked like a bedazzled queen at the Los Angeles premiere of her latest film We Have a Ghost. The Legally Blonde star plays The West Bay Medium, a celebrity psychic alongside David Harbour and Anthony Mackie in the Netflix film that hit the platform on Friday.
She wore the Alina Sequin Ankle Gown from London-based brand Needle & Thread. Her stylist, Gaelle Paul, who also put together her Golden Globe and Critic’s Choice Awards looks paired the dress with sheer black globes from d.bleu.dazzled, Betsy Johnson pointed-toe heels and jewelry from Swarovski.
“Red carpet ready ✨,” the brand wrote on Instagram. “Ultimate icon @jennifercoolidge steps out in LA looking incredible💚✨. We couldn’t love this more 💘.”
Paul shared his own post of the A Cinderella Story actress’s glam and the designer chimed into the comments: “Jennifer looks so so beautiful - thank you so much Gaelle ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Coolidge recently starred in Jennifer Lopez’s Shotgun Wedding, which was released last December, and made her Super Bowl commercial debut with e.l.f Cosmetics last month.
She’s on a roll and finally getting the recognition she deserves after almost three decades in the industry.
The 61-year-old won a Golden Globe and a Critic’s Choice Award earlier this year for her performance as Tanya McQuoid in two seasons of The White Lotus.
“I had such big dreams as a young person, but what happens is they get sort of fizzled by life. Mike White, you gave me a new beginning,” she gushed about the HBO show’s director during her acceptance speech. “You’ve given me hope. You changed my life in a million different ways. My neighbors are speaking to me and things like that. I mean it. I was never invited to one party on my hill, and now everyone’s inviting me.”
