Last night was a big night for Vanessa Hudgens—and not only because she hosted ABC’s red carpet event at the Oscars.

The American actress showed up to the event in a gorgeous black fitted gown from Vera Wang couture, which was perfectly primed to show off her growing baby bump. Yes, the High School Musical star is pregnant!

Back in December, the 35-year-old tied the knot with her now-husband, Cole Tucker, a 27-year-old American professional baseball player. Now, three months on from their idyllic nuptials in Mexico, the pair are expecting their first child together.

There really was no better—or more stylish—way to announce it than on a red carpet, either. Hudgens absolutely knew what she was doing when she stepped out in her bump-baring gown. She paired the sleek number with a diamond necklace and a sleek half up-do.

The night was, according to the actress, “One for the books,” she noted on Instagram.

Following her stunning bump debut, she opted for an outfit change to attend the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. She showed up in a likewise black, but sheer, gauzy gown and sported dramatic curls to match.

Hudgens and Tucker began dating back in 2020, when they met via a Zoom meditation meeting. Their engagement, which came not quite three years later in February 2023, lasted for 10 months before the couple set off for Mexico and their stunning ceremony.

Soon enough, they will be adding to their family of two. We’re so thrilled for the pair!
