Alix Earle Recaps First Date Horror Story After Reentering the Dating Pool

As it turns out, even if you’re Alix Earle, sometimes a first date turns out to be a total dud.
The 25-year-old New Jersey native announced her split from NFL wide receiver Braxton Berrios last December after two years of dating, and since then, she has been focused on her career. But earlier this week, the Reale Actives founder shared that she was reentering the dating pool.
When someone recently slid into her DMs, Earle agreed to go out on a date with him, which was supposed to include a drive to Malibu, Calif., for a walk along the beach. The Get Real With Me host shared her first date jitters in a “get ready with me” video on TIkTok earlier this week, in which she confessed to her 8.3 million followers on the platform that she had a “nervous” feeling in her stomach leading up to the date.
“I’m a nervous girl right now,” she stated. “I don’t know how to explain it. I know it’s been like four months since my breakup, but you know what? It just feels like weird still and like this feels wrong.”

Unfortunately, Earle has since shared a recap with her loyal following, and let’s just say it doesn’t sound like there is going to be a second date. In a nearly seven-minute clip posted to TikTok on Wednesday, April 8, the content creator summarized the peculiar series of events that transpired on the date with her unnamed suitor.
Despite picking her up at 3 p.m., her date made a dinner reservation for 7:30 p.m. and had no plan for what they would do in between.
“The conversation was like kind of not flowing as much as I would like have loved a conversation to flow,” Earle admitted. She said that by 5 p.m., they had spent most of their afternoon in the car, outside of a quick stop at Starbucks and a 15-minute walk at the beach. And though their reservation wasn’t until 7:30 p.m., Earle’s date suggested they head to the restaurant early to see if they could be seated. When a table wasn’t available, she began to feel irritated.
“These are like little things where I’m like, I don’t know, maybe I’m just a picky b----, but I’m like maybe just like check or just call to change the reservation really quick before we get there,” Earle noted. At that point, they decided to head back toward Earle’s house and find something to eat along the way. During their drive, Earle’s date, whom she noted was vaping and revving his engine along the way, admitted to not knowing much about her social media career and asked if she is on OnlyFans.
“How do you plan to pick someone up at 2:30 and make a reservation at 7:30 with no plan in between? We don’t know each other, we’re meeting for the first time, like that’s a long time to commit to spending time with someone,” Earle pointed out. “So, anywho, I don’t know, and then when he said the OnlyFans thing, I was like, I don’t wanna go on dates anymore. I did it once and now I’m done.”
Earle’s fans weigh in
Earle’s loyal social media followers called out her date’s bad behavior and quickly flooded the comments section of her TikTok with supportive feedback.
“STARBUCKS?!!!!!!!!!!!!” reality TV star Stassi Schroeder declared, clearly appalled.
“You’re not picky, you have standards !! As it should be !!! And Tbh that’s bare minimum!!” one person wrote.
“This is a bad date in every single tax bracket,” someone else noted.
“5 hours with no plan is wild 😂,” one follower concurred.
“Pardon??????” former Catfish: The TV Show cohost Kamie Crawford exclaimed.
“Not planning a real date for Alix Earle is actually insane,” another comment read.
“THE BAR IS IN HELL 😭….. we are all cooked,” someone else stated.
“My jaw is actually on the floor… I would’ve jumped in the ocean and swam home from this date,” one person stated.
“we've seen a lot of first dates but yikes,” the official Starbucks account wrote.
