Zendaya’s Latest Outfit Merges Two Unexpected Styles Into One Unique Bridal Look

If it were possible to nominate a press tour for “Best Costumes” at the Academy Awards, Zendaya’s fashion while promoting The Drama would definitely be taking home that gold statue.
Alongside her longtime stylist, Law Roach, the actress has been making headlines for weeks while attending interviews and red carpets for the upcoming film, all thanks to her beautiful, bridal-themed ensembles. These styles take inspiration from the A24 project, which follows a young couple preparing to get married, only for a shocking secret to throw a wrench in their newlywed bliss.
And this week, the actress stopped by Good Morning America wearing yet another striking outfit, this time combining both the bride and groom’s sides of the aisle.

Zendaya’s unique designer look
For her morning show chat with hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos on Wednesday, April 1, Zendaya wore a dual fabric mini dress by designer ERDEM. According to Roach, who shared more clips of the garment on his Instagram Story, the piece was from their Fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection.
Comprising a black blazer-style mini dress with a white, knee-length, delicate lace layered over the top, the outfit was truly one-of-a-kind. The placement of the floral appliques throughout also added a fun bit of contrast, with the actress opting to keep the accessories to a minimum to let the ensemble shine.
And that wasn’t her only look by the designer that combined unexpected textures! Zendaya was spotted sporting another ERDEM mini dress from their fall collection while in New York, with the designer noting in an Instagram post that the look consisted of a “tweed jacket worn with a hand-woven shredded dress crafted from fabric remnants.”
Zendaya hints at one more bridal look to come
During the Good Morning America segment, Roberts brought up the actress’s recent style while also applauding Roach’s incredible picks. The host then pointed out something many fans have noticed, as well: that she’s already worn “something old,” “something new” and “something borrowed” on the red carpet, with Zendaya stating that her last look would be “something blue.”
The actress also noted that there was actually a larger story being told through the outfit picks, with the styles chosen reflecting the plot of the film as it goes along. “You know, it starts quite light ...” Zendaya told the hosts, “But thematically, the looks are starting to get a bit darker, as well. So we’re following the plot of the film.”
